Fall 2012 RHS Football Game Schedule

Complete Fall 2012 Schedule - games in bold are at RHS - admission is typically $4 per person:

Sat., August 25 - Soldan - at Roosevelt - 1:30 pm
Sat., September 1 - Chaminade - at Roosevelt 1:30 pm (non-Public High League game)
Sat., September 8 - Vashon - at Gateway High School 1:30 pm
Sat., September 15 - Sumner - at Roosevelt - 1:30 pm
Sat., September 22 - Miller Career Academy - at Roosevelt - 1:30 pm
Sat., September 29 - Gateway HS - at Gateway - 1:30 pm
Sat., October 6 - Carnahan - at Gateway - 1:30 pm
Friday, October 12 - Desmet - at Desmet - 7 pm (non-Public High League game)
Saturday, October 20 - Derick Thomas Academy - 1:30 pm (non-Public High League game) Homecoming Game

Football Breakfasts will be provided for the team on the dates in bold. Donations and volunteers (for Oct. 20) are still needed and welcome.

If you would like to donate funds to support the breakfasts, volunteer, or have questions, please contact: Norah Ryan, 314-241-9994 (daytime #) or email norah.ryan@att.net. Donations to support the breakfasts are tax deductible as a charitable donation and should be made payable to the SLPS Foundation. Put "Roosevelt Football Breakfasts" in the memo area of the check. Roosevelt 100th Anniversary event - Sunday, January 26, 2025

The Roosevelt Community Council and the Roosevelt HS Alumni Association will be holding a Centennial event on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Roosevelt High School, 3230 Hartford St., St. Louis MO  63118. Building tours at noon and a program at 1:00 pm. This is the actual 100th anniversary of the day the Roosevelt building first opened for students. An event is also being planned for the fall of 2025, to coincide with Homecoming, and we would welcome alumni of any year to join us to plan for this centennial year.

UPDATE RE TICKETS:      Tickets will be bought using the HomeTown Ticketing App. Spectators will pay online through their phones or home computers. They can purchase ahead of  time or scan the QR codes posted at the gate and purchase the day of the event. $6 plus small credit card fee for football games. After you get to the HomeTown Ticketing App, try searching for "Roosevelt PHL" to find the correct Roosevelt. Use a credit card to purchase the ticket. Once you have the ticket (via email), take a screenshot on your phone so that you can show the photo to the person at the gate. First Football Breakfast of 2015

"Football Breakfasts" means providing breakfast for the Roosevelt High School football team before its Saturday home JV and Varsity games. About 85% of the students at Roosevelt are eligible for the school's free or reduced price meal program during the school week, but there are no such meals on Saturdays. The RCC began supporting the breakfasts about 8 years ago , when Mr. Terry Houston, then principal, asked us to provide volunteers for the breakfasts. The breakfasts were his idea: they are a way to both support the team and connect the community to the school. The volunteers help set up, help serve, and clean up after the breakfasts. Currently, the RCC raises the funds for the breakfasts, hires the caterer to provide the food, and recruits the volunteers. We held a fundraiser in May at Riley's Irish Pub in Tower Grove East to raise funds for the breakfasts. The balance of the funds comes from donations.
