First 2016 Roosevelt Football Breakfast

We had our first Roosevelt HS Football Breakfast on Saturday, August 27, 2016. Here's a snapshot from the breakfast (actually, it was a lunch that was held after the game because the game was an early one at 11 am): Chef Euylan Welch of WelchOne Catering is in the white jacket serving, and one of our community volunteers is to his left, with a student volunteer to her left. The student volunteers for the day were students in the Marine Corps Junior ROTC at the school, who did a very nice job helping out, as always!! The next home football game is Saturday, Sept. 10th, 2016, a regular 1:30 pm afternoon game, with our second Football Breakfast of the year in the morning. The volunteers for the day will be members of the August Gate Church, which is located in Tower Grove East, along with a few members of the Roosevelt Community Council. The 2016 Football game schedule is in a earlier post on this website. Our next RCC meeting will be Tuesday, September 6th, at 4:30 pm, in

Change in RHS football game schedule

This may not be the "final final" schedule, but we wanted to go ahead and post it. We have been made aware of one change - the Sept. 3rd game with Sumner had to be cancelled. Note that admission to games is $4 per person, cash, and you enter the field at the corner of Compton and Wyoming (and Gravois). There is a concession stand that is open during the games. Here is a link to some info about the new football coach, Shawn Pollard .
