Week of May 6th, 2019  - Teacher Appreciation Week at the school. Principal Enna Dancy has received several donations (cash and in-kind) for this event, but is looking for a few more monetary donations. If you wish to donate, contact Ms. Dancy's office for details. 314-776-6040 and ask for the principal's office. Checks would be made payable to Roosevelt High School.  Tuesday, May 7, 2019,  4:30 pm, RCC meeting at Roosevelt, Room 102.  Friday, May 10, 2019 , starting at about 12:30 pm, annual Day of Love event at the school, RCC members and community members welcome. Lunch is usually served in the courtyard area to the south of the school. If you know of a non-profit that would like to set up an information table during the lunch event, let us know so we can get you more information. Wednesday, May 15, 2019 , 4:30 pm - Graduation ceremony at Harris Stowe. Principal Dancy has some tickets in reserve for RCC members. If interested, let us know.  Sunday, May 26, 2

Next meeting, Tuesday, May 7th, 4:30 pm, Room 102 at the school.  Info on the Riley's fundraiser on May 26th:  Mark your calendar for our fundraiser for the Roosevelt Football Breakfasts, which will be  Sunday, May 26th, starting at noon and running until at least 6 pm. It will be at  Rileys' Pub at the corner of Arsenal and Arkansas in Tower Grove East. We will be grilling brats and hotdogs (and some sort of veggie option), and will have side dishes. Eat in or carry out, and Rileys' bar will be open. Raffle items too. 

The Roosevelt Community Council will meet tomorrow, April 2nd, 2019, at 4:30 pm in Room 102 at the school. Ms. Enna Dancy, Principal of Roosevelt, will be at the meeting to give an update. We will also be talking about our May 26th, 2019 fundraiser for the Football Breakfasts, noon to about 6 pm at Riley's Pub in Tower Grove East.  The room where we meet is located on the main level of the building, up the main front stairs off Hartford Street. The address is 3230 Hartford. Parking is on the east side of the building off Compton, and there is a building entrance next to the parking lot, just to the north. We are making arrangements to have access to a lift and an elevator to assist anyone who might have difficulty with the stairs in the building.
