The RCC will meet on Tuesday, January 10th, 2017 at 4:30 pm, rescheduled from our usual first Tuesday of the month meeting date. Room 023 at the school.

Roosevelt Sports Schedules - Wrestling, Girls' Basketball, Boys' Basketball

From Coach Corrigan, Athletic Director at Roosevelt:

Good afternoon,
Attached are the winter sports schedules for boys and girls basketball as well as wrestling. We love any support you can provide in the form of cheering for our Roughrider athletes.

January 2017 RCC meeting will be on January 10th

We normally meet on the first Tuesday of the month, but in January 2017 will meet on January 10th at 4:30 in Room 023 at the school. The change in date is because of the holiday.

RCC Meeting Tuesday, Dec. 6th, 4:30 pm and neighborhood meetings

The next RCC meeting will be Tuesday, December 6th, 2016 at 4:30 pm in Room 023 at the school. The school is located at 3230 Hartford Street. Park on the lot on the Compton side of the building, and walk around to the main front doors, go up the steps and enter through security. The meeting room is on the ground floor on the west side of the building.

One big agenda item will be an update on plans for the school.

RCC members will be visiting neighborhood meetings in the next month or two, seeking new folks to join us in supporting Roosevelt. We will be speaking very briefly about the RCC and Roosevelt.

First 2016 Roosevelt Football Breakfast

We had our first Roosevelt HS Football Breakfast on Saturday, August 27, 2016. Here's a snapshot from the breakfast (actually, it was a lunch that was held after the game because the game was an early one at 11 am):

Chef Euylan Welch of WelchOne Catering is in the white jacket serving, and one of our community volunteers is to his left, with a student volunteer to her left. The student volunteers for the day were students in the Marine Corps Junior ROTC at the school, who did a very nice job helping out, as always!!

The next home football game is Saturday, Sept. 10th, 2016, a regular 1:30 pm afternoon game, with our second Football Breakfast of the year in the morning. The volunteers for the day will be members of the August Gate Church, which is located in Tower Grove East, along with a few members of the Roosevelt Community Council.

The 2016 Football game schedule is in a earlier post on this website.

Our next RCC meeting will be Tuesday, September 6th, at 4:30 pm, in Room 023 at Roosevelt, 3230 Hartford St.
