 Here's the latest game schedule:

 We were informed yesterday that Roosevelt's annual Homecoming game has been moved from September 18, 2021 to a date in October, although the Sept. 18 game is still on (as well as a Football Breakfast for the team). We will post the updated schedule as soon as we get it. 

 The game against St. Louis U. High - which was set for this Friday evening, September 3, 2021 - has been cancelled due to a positive COVID case and resulting quarantine. The rest of the schedule is accurate (for now!).  The RCC will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 7 at 4:30 pm, first Tuesday of the month. "Contact us" for a Zoom link.

 The Rough Rider Reading Nook has been set up and is looking great. This was established using grant funds. Additional reading materials (books) are due to arrive next week - from the Eye See Me bookstore** in University City.   ** The Biggest African-American Children's Bookstore in the United States.

Roosevelt's football team has its first game of the season this Saturday, March 13th, at noon at Roosevelt.  Admission is $5  (bring exact change in cash),  payable at the gate  (entry to the field is at the corner of Compton and Wyoming).  Please publicize the game if you can. Attendance will be limited to 275 people, and masking and distancing will be in effect.   Neighborhood volunteers just prior to serving breakfast to the football team, fall 2019. We are raising funds to feed the team prior to their games in March-April 2021 (the rescheduled fall 2020 football season).
